John Hoyle Featured As Exceptional Scholar In National Newsletter

3/25/08

An interview with John Hoyle, professor of leadership preparation, research and development in future studies in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, was featured in School Leadership News, a newsletter of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Division A.

The interview, conducted by Carol Mullen at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, is part of a biographical portraiture study of exceptional scholars in education. Hoyle has been defined as an optimistic champion of the educational leadership profession and has been honored as America's Leading Reformer in Administrator Preparation.

"Hoyle's fight for particular educational causes, including the preparation of democratically-minded leaders, was validated," wrote Mullen.
