Mario Torres Elected President Of Education Interest Group4/11/08
Mario Torres, assistant professor of K-12 educational administration, was recently elected president of the Law and Education Interest Group at the 2008 conference for the American Educational Research Association in New York City.
During his professional career, Torres has assumed various leadership roles within the Law and Education Interest Group, including serving as chair on two prior occasions. His primary focus as president will be to enhance the presence of legal research in education policy and practice as well as to encourage scholarship in the area of education law.
